So, I need an advert for the “Canon Pixma” printers. A quick Google search tells me that I’m competing with PC World, Canon themselves, Amazon and MSN. No pressure to write a good advert then!! On the plus side, there’s only 8 adverts in total, so I’ll be appearing on page one regardless of my bid.
My first two adverts (always have two or more running, and keep binning the worse one) are as follows:
Buy A {KeyWord: Canon Pixma Buy A Canon Pixma
Product Reviews And Comparisons Product Reviews And Comparisons
Great Prices And Free Delivery Great Prices And Free Delivery
www.MalcolmsPrinters.co.uk/Pixma www.MalcolmsPrinters.co.uk/Pixma
Notice that I’ve only made one change to the advert. Suppose I’d changed two things, and one improved the performance, and one made it worse. Either the overall impact would be better and I’d end up keeping both changes (including the bad one), or it would be worse, and I’d end up discarding both changes (including the good one).
The only time when I would make multiple changes would be if I was fundamentally changing the style of the advert, and the individual lines couldn’t be added to the current advert in isolation.
